The Calgary Pointing club is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)

The clubs mandate is to promote and support the read this purebred pointing dog breeds as sporting ,hunting and pet companions.

The club’s primary objective is to conduct field trials and field dog tests for the pointing dog breeds. Dogs that are eligible to participate in these events must be CKC registerable .

  • The governing body of the Club shall be the Board of Directors.
  • The Board of Directors shall be comprised of no less than four (4) and no more than eight (8) individuals including the following officers:  President, Vice President and Past President.
  • All Board members shall be residents of the Club’s area of operation defined under Section 1.2 and members in good standing with the Club and The Canadian Kennel Club.
